In 2019 they weren't allowed to sell the badges because of an inquiry into the NSW RSL club itself, and last year they were curtailed by COVID-19.
Last year's effort though was assisted by an innovative idea by Melise Hutching at Blayney Botanicals who raised nearly $800 for the sub-branch through the sale of leucadendrons.
IN OTHER NEWS:
President of the sub-branch Reg Rendell said that the flowers almost double their income on ANZAC Day.
"We earn about the same amount every year from the sale of the badges and this is a really welcome boost for us," he said.
"We'll be selling the badges at Bernardi's on the Thursday, Friday and Saturday before ANZAC Day."
Melise added that just as they did last year the Leucadendrons will be placed at the Blayney Memorial gates before the dawn service.
Luecadendrons are $6 each or two for $10 and can be ordered by calling Melise on 6368 2718.
