For over four years Blayney's Meals on Wheels clients have been satisfied by frozen meals distributed by the Blayney branch.
Thanks though to some special COVID-19 funding and a collaboration with the Exchange Hotel, Blayney's Meals on Wheels clients will be treated with a free hot roast meal every Sunday.
For MOW's Suellen Cook the agreement is a win-win for all involved and came about by accident.
"We had Luke come and talk at Rotary and from there we developed this idea to use the kitchen there to provide meals," she said.
"Our customers have been receiving the free hot meals every Sunday for the past three weeks and they just love it."

Hotel manager Luke Davies said that providing the meals at a cost price for the service was helping keep the staff employed, and the service may grow.
"The meals have been so popular that we're looking at introducing a special meal on a Wednesday as well and it will be one of the pub meals, maybe a schnitzel or something like that," he said.
