Based in Blayney and spreading out to the villages around the shire and down to their campus in Cowra, Pastor Graeme Summerson says that the demand for hope has been strong during these uncertain times.
"With what is going on around the world and in Australia with Covid-19, it's very difficult to look at things in a positive way," he said.
"Everything we seem to see, hear or read is negative.
"Our aim is to lift the spirits of our community and show that life isn't all bad and negative."
Pastor Summerson said that Abundant Life Community Care has opened their new service in the old antique shop that was next door.
"After the response to Cadia and Rotary's recent hamper program there's clearly a need for a more permanent service for those that are struggling during these times," he said.
"Firstly we will be offering food hampers in partnership with Convoy of Hope with the aim of putting Hope in every Home.
"Also on offer will be a space to just come and talk to someone about hope.
"Assistance will be given to point people toward organisations that will help them in ways that maybe they haven't thought of."
