It's fairly rare that two opposing sides will be playing against another two of the same sides in the finals, but that's what's happening this Sunday in Mudgee.

Following the big wins in Lithgow on Sunday, when the league tag side beat home side Lithgow 14-0 and the under 18's beat Mudgee 24-16, the two sides will now both face the relevant CYMS sides to see who progresses.
League tag coach Tim Mooney said that if the side plays as well as it did this Sunday as it did last, they should have no problem knocking CYMS off.
"Their defence was just excellent," he said of his side. "Lithgow had possession of the ball for the first six minutes of the game and were able to complete five or six sets, but they never cracked through."

The power house combination of a Grace Mooney try and an Abbie Uhr goal set the Bear's up in the first half of the match for a 6-0 lead that was never answered by Lithgow.
Once the second half began Blayney surged forward with the assistance on two occasions of the boot of Abbie Uhr and a try by the irrepressible Sophie Stammers.
The under 18's were certainly the best side on the day said coach Ryley Oborn who added that his side played much better in the first half than the second.
"One little mistake can change the game and we made a few in the second half," he said.
"They did really well to hold them back in the end," he said.
Try scorers for the under 18's were Louis Nixon, Calub Acton, Lhiam Burrell and Isaac Lettice and it was the boot of Ben Mitchell that concreted the side's victory with four goals.
The under 18's record against CYMS this year is is looking fairly balanced for the Bears with them having a 38-22 win in the second round and a 34-22 loss in the 11th.
Oborn is hoping that his side's competitive spirit lasts through both halves of footy.
"CYMS are very good across the park and we nearly had them the second time around but if we play like we did against Mudgee we should be able to come up with a win," he said.
On Saturday at Wade Park the St Pats will play Hawks and in the 18's St Pats will play Panthers.
