In September, the NSW Police Force started an investigation after receiving information from Australian Border Force about the alleged importation of drugs into Australia.

Police will allege packages containing methylamphetamine and cocaine were imported from the United States of America, Paris and Slovakia.

The packages have an estimated potential street value of approximately $448,900.

Following extensive inquiries, officers from Chifley Western Region Enforcement Squad executed a search warrant at a home in Millthorpe just after 4pm on Thursday, November 11.

Police located and seized, cannabis, methylamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

A 32-year-old woman was arrested and taken to Bathurst Police Station.

She was charged with three counts of causing a controlled drug or plant to be carried by post article, six counts of importing a marketable quantity of a border controlled drug, and two counts of possessing a prohibited drug.

The Millthorpe woman was given conditional bail to appear at Bathurst Local Court on Wednesday, January 19, 2022.
