COVID-19 is of course the biggest problem the group has had causing a stop-start-stop shunting of exhibitions and events since its inception.
With the state now opening up and the flow of tourists to increase, a planned brainstorming session on Sunday the 24th of October at 2pm will not only create some great ideas, but also introduce everyone to its new Venue Event Coordinator Sarah Randall.
Ms Randall is an artist from Orange and brings to the table a ton of gallery management experience, including working in Ireland for a year as an Assistant to the Director of an art centre.
She also holds a Bachelor of Creative Arts, Masters in Fine Arts and a graduate certificate of Art History.
It's her work as the assistant to the director at Greywood Arts in the historic village of Killeagh in East Cork in Ireland that will be of most relevance to a town like Blayney.
"I want to work with the committee in not just fine arts but also sculpture, printmaking, working out how to bring live music in as well as education programs that span the whole branch of the arts," she said.
Everyone is invited to the brainstorming session with Sarah and the PAHB committee to share your ideas of how to best utilise the spaces that are available at the station.
Whether it be ideas for workshops, exhibitions, live music, various events or markets they're all welcome.
Due to COVID restrictions, please RSVP by Thursday the 21st of October 5pm.
Please note that you need to be DOUBLE vaccinated to attend this brainstorming session, please bring along proof of your vaccination.
