Christmas in July
A festive winter spectacle is poised to fill Keystone 1889 next month. For two evenings [Friday, July 16 and Saturday, July 17], audiences will be treated to a Christmas in July feast, accompanied by pantomime and cabaret entertainment. You'll find fruit, veg, local products, plants, jewellery, crafts and lots more at the Blayney Rotary Market, held at Carrington Park on the third Sunday of the month. If the weather turns damp, the markets move to the Blayney Community Centre. Next event is on June 20.
The New Graces

Melanie Horsnell, Kate Burke, and Robyn Martin - all seasoned identities in the Australian music scene - have teamed up as The New Graces. Songwriters and multi-instrumentalists, they deliver exquisite three-part harmonies, with a little desert heat-haze that could only be Australian. Soon to kick off
After being curtailed last year by COVID, Bathurst Winter Festival will return in July featuring all its regular events and rides, including the ice rink, ferris wheel and carousel. June 26 to July 11. For full details visit www.bathurstwinterfestival.com.au.
Pick the Wildflowers
Tracy Lee Thompson will talk about her debut fiction novel, "Pick the Wildflowers" at this event. Thompson will lead a discussion of her writing and the inspiration for the romantic novel, set in a country town in 1935. Bathurst Library, June 19,1.30pm-3pm. Free
Sam Buckingham is touring her new album, "Something More". Known for her soul-baring acoustic performances, her new show now includes live looping and sampling. Experience the Spanish colour and rhythms of Bizet's famous opera through Opera Australia's singers, live chamber orchestra and a children's chorus.
