Craft & Cuppa
Join in
Come and join our friendly Craft, Cuppa and Chat Group. Bring your own projects to work on or join in sewing, knitting, crochet, embroidery, cross stitch, learn something new, or just come for the cuppa and a chat. However, a unanimous decision by those who attend has been made to change the day. The Craft, Cuppa and Chat Group will now be held on the Tuesdays from 10am to 1pm ... except on the first Tuesday of each month, which is for Millthorpe CWA branch meetings. Held at the newly refurbished Millthorpe CWA Hall, 21 Pym Street. $2.50
Corner Store Gallery
Exhibitions
The Corner Store Gallery is a small, independently run space that exhibits a diverse range of emerging and well-established artists specialising in a variety of mediums. The gallery's next exhibition will feature Tim WInters' Ridgeline, the artist's first solo exhibition in six years, which explores the nature of memory and place. May 19 to 29. Come and meet the local growers and browse their fresh seasonal produce. Boutique cordials, free range chickens; eggs, meat, gourmet pies, honey, jams, mustards, plants, shrubs, flowers, fresh fruit and vegetables are just part of the produce on sale. Hosted by the Lions Club of Bathurst at the Bathurst showground. May 22, from 8am to noon.
Sydney Comedy Festival Showcase

The Sydney Comedy Festival Showcase will bring the crème de la crème of the 2021 Festival to Bathurst on June 5. Featuring some of the Festival's hottest acts live on stage for an incredible two hours of hard-hitting laughter. Bathurst Memorial Entertaiment Centre, 8pm to 10pm. Ensemble Offspring
Musical performance
Musical mavericks, Ensemble Offspring, will perform at the Orange Regional Conservatorium on May 30, bringing together some of the most innovative instrumentalists in Australia. Blayney Rotary Markets

Held on the third Sunday of the month, Blayney Rotary Market features a range of stalls boasting seasonal fruit, vegetables, local produce, plants, flowers, jewellery, craft, accessories, candles, beauty products and more. The next markets will be held on Sunday, June 20 from 8.30am to noon at CentrePoint.
Mushroom hunt

The mushrooms are out and the hunt is on. Yum! You can try and spot them in the wild yourself (be careful you don't pick out something deadly) or take part in a tour that starts from Hampton. Astro + Dreamtime

This unique workshop will combine teaching astrophotography with learning about the night sky through Indigenous Dreamtime storytelling. It's aimed at beginners to intermediate on the photography skill scale. After you've snapped the Milky Way and beyond you can warm up with some bush tucker.
