The Magic School Bus is both a Netflix series and a number of books that the librarian at St Joseph's Karyn Wills used as inspiration for the sculpture.
With the help of Assistant Principal Sally Ostini and a swag of the school's volunteers and supporters, the construction took a few weekends, and quite a lot of yellow paint.

"Everything was donated and is recycled or repurposed from donations," she said.
"The tyres are from Tyrepower, the boards that are the windows come from Blayney Real Estate, the hay bales come from Karyn and Cyril Wills and Brendan Cook moved them all into place.
And all that yellow paint wasn't from a large box of cans.
"We had a professional spray painting machine that we used to cover the bales," Mrs Ostini said.
