Both Millthorpe and Lyndhurst are in the top four and if they're both successful on Saturday, the competition will be superb if they meet for the finals.
Lyndhurst will come up against Country on Saturday in the minor semi-final with the winner of that match taking on the loser of the major semi between Millthorpe and Canowindra.
IN OTHER SPORT:
Lyndhurst's form though, like the weather, has been sporadic over the season and they went down quickly to Millthorpe last Saturday knocking up only 50 runs in a worrying performance only a week before the semis.
But then, Country's form has been fairly appalling this year so this game could go either way, of course the heart is rooting for Lyndhurst, but the wallet is on Country.
Millthorpe though, with their superb batting line up of Lachie O'Keefe, Will Oldham, Michael Parfett, Tim Low, James Millner and Adam Henry will keep the runs ticking over.
And if that fails to come to pass the deadly bowling accuracy of Peter Gott, Stu Redfern, Adam Clark and Patrick Tree will confuse and frustrate the Canowindra side.
Canowindra though can surprise both themselves and their opponents as they can have a bit of a split-personality when it comes to how they perform on the day.
