The new agreement will see council funding Orange360 to the amount of $60,000 each year, indexed annually.

The amendment was rejected though after mayor Scott Ferguson reminded councillors that council enters into many contracts, from building programs to supply contracts that extend beyond the current term of the council.
Councillor David Somervaille was endorsed as the nominated Council representative and delegate on the Orange360 Board for the remaining term of Council.
