The free event on Sunday August 4 is the final get-together of the Winter Fire Festival and Mr Oliver will be encouraging everyone to discover what's new.
"The park has been completely refurbished and we'd like everyone to join your friends at the banquet tables, enjoy the new BBQ , listen to music and wander through the park," he said.
For those not keen on the idea of cooking, Blayney Rotary will be there with their new BBQ trailer to cook up a few bangers for the visitors.
The new covered communal area features tables made by a local artisan and Mr Oliver said that part of the day is getting to meet those involved in the park's rejuvenation.
"It's a great opportuity to meet the wonderful artists and artisans, and friends, who have helped move the park to be even better than before - and see their unique contributions," he said.
Mr Oliver said that dogs are also welcome on the day with the large leash-free area being available.
The event will run from 2 - 5pm and entry is free.
