This will really be a trip down memory lane for a lot of us
- Wes Vane.
Former local Wes Vane, who now lives in Orange, is the brains behind the event and along with Damon Taylor from the Royal Hotel the pair have been organising the weekend that not only includes some solid footy at King George on Sunday, but also the jerseys that the first grade will be wearing will also be auctioned off on Sunday night at the hotel.
The side is coming up against Lithgow Workies this Sunday and although Workies have improved as the season has continued, the Bears will be looking for a repeat of the 46-14 thrashing of Workies they dished out at Tony Luchetti Sportsground last year.
Mr Vane said that after only four years in the competition Blayney won their first premiership in 1977.
"This will really be a trip down memory lane for a lot of us," he said.
Anyone is welcome to come along to the Royal Hotel on Saturday from 12pm.
