Whether you like the concept of Halloween or not, the day is approaching rapidly, to celebrate this the Blayney farmers market committee are inviting the community to participate in a family pumpkin carving competition.

This is an exciting initiative of the Blayney Farmers’ Market and they hope to continue the tradition in future.
Parents buy a pumpkin, ask the kids to create the design and practice your carving skills on the pumpkin.
Bring your family’s carved pumpkin to the October Blayney Farmers’ Market by 10.00am.
Judging will take place at 11.30am with the winner announced at midday.
We look forward to seeing your family’s pumpkin creations.
Lyndhurst Fair and Markets
To help raise money for the maintenance of the Lyndhurst Soldier’s Memorial Hall and the village itself, the Lyndhurst Fair and Markets are on this Sunday October 21, and they’re going to be huge.
Running from 10am through to 2pm the markets will include all sorts of great products, music, a bbq, a vintage car display and loads of fun for all the family.

You have to BEE there! Join us at the Beekeeper's inn (2319 Mitchell Hwy, Vittoria - between Bathurst n Orange).
Bring along a piece of your writing for others to give you gentle feed back on; b.y.o pen 'n paper or smartphone to craft your 100-word story/poem for our challenge.
Swap tips/gripes/anecdotes about your latest writing adventures.

Christmas lunch meeting
The Christmas Lunch Committee is inviting the public to join in in the organising of this year’s lunch.
They will be meeting at 6pm on Monday October 22 in the hall at the Catholic Church.
