It’s been a cracking year for Blayney Junior Soccer and two of their sides, the under 13 Tigers and the under 15 Blades, notched up stunning grand final wins on the weekend.

In the under 13 - Division 2 - Blayney Tigers defeated CYMS Gold 5-2.
In the under 15 – Division 2 - Blayney Blades defeated CYMS Green 3-1.
The under 13 side started out in a strong position during the first half, controlling the ball and keeping the sturdy CYMS keeper on his toes.
Toby Ryan was the first to shake the back of the CYMS net, but the CYMS side was quick to respond and at half-time the scores were 1 each.
After their oranges they were back on the field and CYMS somehow notched up another scrappy goal.
Once again though the Tigers rallied and Lee Frost whacked in the equaliser.
At the end of standard time they were two points each.
It was during extra time that the Tigers really took off after their prey.
A perfect cross into the box found Josh Dowsett’s foot and he tapped the third goal in, then Josh Bunt was again in the correct position off a corner and found the net with a beautiful header.
The final goal was fired by Max Gillespie into the top corner of the goal.
