Sitting at fourth place on the under 18’s ladder, the Blayney Bears side have the two Bathurst sides and Orange CYMS above them on the ladder, but co-coach Cameron Hobby said that the side were a tenacious crew.
“They’re all good mates and play really well together and it’s our defence that we’re really very strong at,” Hobby said.
We really need to build up some momentum as we head into the finals.

Like the senior teams, sometimes getting the numbers up can be a challenge.
“Normally we have 17 or 18 players but this weekend I’ll only have the bare minimum because three of them have their junior under 16’s footy on Saturday morning,”
Hobby said that the final couple of games in this season are crucial for the side’s success.
“There are a couple of big weeks coming up with Oberon this week and then Lithgow at home the following week, and they’re both must win games for us to cement our position in the finals, and from there anything can happen,” he said.
