Club treasurer Justine Bevan said that the 200 capacity pie warmer had already been put through its paces.
“We used it last Saturday during the juniors matches and it was fantastic,” she said.
The original pie warmer, donated by the former owner of the Akehurst bakery, Frank Akehurst, is now the back up oven.
Marketing manager at the Orange Credit Union, Noelle Cornish, said that the warmer was the first grant that the credit union had given to a Blayney club.
“We’re really happy to help out here in Blayney and in the other small centres, “ she said.
