There were three rounds of competition and it ended on Sunday in Orange with the finals.
The Opens played in Division 2 and found themselves in a highly competitive division.
They put up a strong performance and managed to move themselves from eighth into fifth with a win against Cowra, defeating them 48-41.
Our U17s were in Division 3 and during the round games had placed third, leaving themselves with a chance to make the final.
They were up against Bathurst, with the record standing at one match a piece. The 17s demonstrated excellent skills, courage and determination.
They took the game right down to the wire, going down in the final seconds of the match by one goal (33-32). They then took on Cowra winning convincingly (37-20), placing them third in this year's competition.
