Bathurst Local Court has ordered that the brief of evidence be served on or before May 2, with May 12 set down for reply in Bathurst.
The 35-year-man facing the murder charge made no application for bail when the case was mentioned in court Monday.
The 11-month-old baby girl died on Wednesday, April 2 after being taken to Blayney Hospital by the man, who told police she had suffered head injuries from a trampoline fall at the family home in Mandurama.
After making a number of inquiries, and receiving the results of a post- mortem, police arrested the man outside Bathurst police station last Wednesday afternoon.
He was subsequently charged with one count of murder.
