In December 2013 the centre was reviewed by a representative of the Department to determine if the centre and staff were meeting, not only the child care regulations, but the newly introduced National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework.
Staff were thrilled with the results that the centre not only met all the standards but were granted a rating of "Exceeding National Quality Standards" in the area of the children's educational program and the centre's relationship with families and community.
Director Robin Meiklejohn said for a child care centre to be granted a rating of exceeding in any area is a testament to the commitment, dedication and professionalism of the staff and the relationship with its families and community that together ensure the very best of care and education for their children.
The centre was also given recognition for the quality of its staff, with all staff members holding Early Childhood qualifications from TAFE to university degrees.
Mrs Meiklejohn said management has always encouraged its staff to further their studies and they are delighted that two of the staff have been accepted to continue their studies at Charles Sturt University this year.
