Mr Toole said the Neville Public Hall is an important community hub for locals.
“The Neville Public Hall is a key piece of community infrastructure for the entire Neville Community and is used year round to host community and special events,” Mr Toole said.
Neville Hall committee member Judy Belecky, said that the money would be used to repair the floor.
“The supper room floor is in urgent need of repair as the old timber stumps underneath have all rotted and it needs to be restumped,” she said.
“Work will start after the poetry night on the 14th of October.”
The guest poet for the Bush Poetry Night this year is Kathy Edwards.
Kathy Edwards is a multi-award winning bush poet, she has held the NSW State Championship title in both bush poetry and slam poetry events.
