The meeting commenced with a moment’s silence in memory of our dear friend and long-standing member, Juliet Cook who passed away on 2nd August.
President, Robyn House, presented her annual report and recounted some of the highlights of the past year.
In March a cheque for $395 was sent to Red Cross Australia as our Branch’s contribution to this year’s Red Cross Calling campaign.
These funds are raised through members’ monthly donations, a significant achievement for our small branch.
Overall, the year’s activities resulted in over $1300 being raised to support the important work of Red Cross.
Members gratefully acknowledged the valuable support received from the Blayney community.
