On Wednesday June 7 the Blayney High School Dance Ensemble travelled to Bathurst to take part in the festival which is a showcase of dance in education from public schools from an area that starts in Lithgow and heads all the way out to Bourke.
After a morning of technical rehearsals students performed in both a matinee and evening performance.
For many of the students it was their first performance experience with dance at Blayney High school.
After sending in a video earlier this year, Blayney High School has been offered a place in a combined item for this years Schools Spectacular – Own the Moment!
The school will be taking 12 students down to perform at this event.
Rehearsals will begin at the start of term and the show is scheduled for November 24 and 25.
