Anzac Day runaway donkey
As the old saying goes, when the cats away the mice will play.
Case in point for the owners of the Wood Blind Factory in Millthorpe, who dutifully went to the Anzac service, to discover later in the morning their donkey and alpacas escaped and were last spotted having a bit to eat on Mill Green by locals Russell Keogh and Charlie Dunn before running away down Forest Reefs Road.
Last seen at Forest Reefs. Maybe they were heading out for the two-up?
