Hosting 150 stalls featuring produce, gourmet food, home wares, arts and craft, and fashion stalls, marketing manager Georji Redfern said the public liked the number, variety and quality of the stalls.
“The feedback from the stallholders was really positive, they loved the community atmosphere,” she said.
“In terms of the downsized markets, it was one of the largest.”
In April, the market attracted 120 stallholders and 8000 visitors.
Ongoing work at Redmond Oval and the still-wet overflow parking area forced the markets behind the oval and onto neighbouring Boomerang Street to increase the capacity.
Mrs Redfern said the fundraising total was still being counted, but it would cover resources and equipment for the school’s students.
“We’re grateful to the community to come and support it,” she said.
