String Theories, a group that has been described as eclectic, evocative, intricate and heart-warming, will be launching their new release - Waking the Deep - at Acoustic Sunday on July 24.
Millthorpe music lovers will know the group well.
Their last foray into the village was an instant sell out, but there will be plenty of seats this time at the Millthorpe Bowling Club.
The show starts at 3pm and tickets are just $10 at the door.
If you book for lunch then you will be guaranteed a table. Please call 6366 3043 for more information.
The group is a Blue Mountains based trio exploring the sophisticated, yet highly accessible, world of New Acoustic music featuring steel-string guitar, mandolin, dobro, violin, viola and vocals.
String Theories have created their own unique take on this emerging, genreless string music with their album “Waking the Deep”, to be debuted this Sunday.
Millthorpe’s own renowned musician, Genni Kane, organiser of the acoustic sunday events and lead singer of the multi Golden Guitar and ARIA Award winning band Flying Emus is bubbling with enthusiasm that String Theories will be making a return visit.
“The thing about String Theories is that they make it look so easy.”
