The Show Society's honorary secretary Anthony Johnson said they will be having a wool competition (Australian Champion Fleece), horse events, yard dog trials, photography, craft, jams and pickles, flowers, shearing, alpaca and old trap displays plus a variety of stalls.
There will be a jumping castle for the kids, all-day barbecue and tea, coffee, sandwiches plus cakes.
The band KP Connections will play from 10am to 4.30pm and the Calare pipe band will perform around lunchtime.
There is a raffle with terrific prizes and a bar will be in operation.
The show is to be opened by Reg Kidd from Orange. Reg is a councillor on Orange City Council, a sustainability farm consultant and garden guru. He is on the ABC of a Saturday morning answering gardening questions from all parts of the state.
The Show Society is in the process of extending the pavilion so that they are able to have the craft on the showground, thanks to a grant from the state government.
