In a high scoring game, the Bears took the lead early with the young gun Tom Leary scoring from a scoot from dummy half converted by Josh Rainbow.
Blayney put two more tries on the board in quick succession to Jesse Nixon and a second to Tom Leary.
Lithgow scored, making it 14 to 4.
A try to Michael Nixon and two more goals to Josh Rainbow took Blayney out to what was a commanding lead, 22 to 4.
Lithgow managed to run in three tries before the half-time break and two goals to take the score to 22 to 20.
At the start of the second half, Terry Brown made a break and got through the Lithgow defence to score and convert his own try to take the Bears ahead 28 to 20.
Lithgow crossed the line to make it even more close with the score 28 to 26.
With strong attacking runs by the Bears and determination, Tom Hooper make a run and crossed to put the Bears in a good lead again.
In this high tension game with the crowd behind the Bears, Lithgow scored again.
With a two point lead, it was Jesse Nixon who sealed the win and Josh Rainbow converted to put the icing on the cake in the last two minutes. Josh Rainbow scored to make the final score 42 to 30.
Our first division were unlucky, going down 28 to 20.

Lithgow managed to score five tries and four goals to go ahead 28 to 16.
Blayney pulled a try back to take the final score to 28 to 20.

The under 18s were not so lucky on Sunday, going down to Lithgow 30 to 16.
The 18s were in the match for most of it but were just not able to get the points needed for another win.

The Ladies League tag showing why they play, enjoying the game and improving weekly.
Going down to Lithgow 22 to 10, the ladies were still throwing the ball around and showing that they can be a force to be reckoned with.
