There Treasurer's report showed a credit balance of $122.86 with $400 having been sent to the annual 'Red Cross Calling' appeal following the street stall held in aid of the appeal in May.
Following the president's request at the June meeting that members consider fundraising suggestions for next year, it was resolved that the branch would not hold an elegant afternoon tea this year, with an additional street stall being held.
The president advised that three beautifully dressed dolls which belonged to our late president, Molly Avard, had been donated to the branch by her husband, Geoff, to be raffled.
Flowers had been sent to Shirley Cox whom members were pleased to know had recovered well from her recent surgery.
The next meeting will be held on August 12, which will be the AGM.
