The chicken run held on Friday February 12 saw Thor Dorsett win the ROBANCO voucher with net 16, the chicken winners were Bob Costello net 19, Jim MacDiarmid net 19 on a count back from Jim Tolhurst.
The 18 hole stroke monthly medal event for the Greg Griffiths trophy set down for Saturday was abandoned due to the weather and will be transferred to this Saturday.
The following week will be an 18 hole stableford for the Fred Rowland trophy followed that evening by the presentation night.

LYNDHURST GOLF CLUB NEWS
Due to the wonderful weekend rain, the scheduled Captain’s Trophy will now be played for on Sunday February 21.
Members and guests are to be congratulated on the effort put into Cowboys and Indians night on Friday.
The club looked terrific and the outfits were outstanding, take a bow everyone. A night to remember.
Coming off a bye the Cowboys were disappointed when their match against Wyangala was washed out.
The boys really need match practice before the rapidly approaching semis.
This Saturday the lads will enjoy a home game versus Carcoar, go get them fellas.
You know I have been telling you some member will get lucky soon with the weekly members draw? Well it was nearly me (missed it by that much).
Maybe next week – you have to be there to win.
Appearing in the birthday book on Wednesday is Ted Leabeater, many happy returns Teddy.
Our members travelling to Sydney for the AC/DC concerts are wished a safe trip and a top time.
Safe travel wishes are also extended to our girls who fly out for Thailand this week, enjoy.

BLAYNEY LADIES GOLF
Without sufficient numbers to play the scheduled Ambrose event, the ladies played an 18-hole stableford.
Winner with a great 40 points was Wendy Crisp and she finally gets a trip to the handicapper.
Runner up with 34 points was Gwen Hadlow.
The nearest the pins for both holes went unclaimed.
Best scores – W Crisp 40 points, G Hadlow 34 points, B Tolhurst 26 points c/b, H Keen 26 points and S Bevear 24 points.
Wendy got a nice gobble two on the par three second hole, and Beryl got a gobble four on the par four fourteenth hole.
The first major trophy for the year will be played on February 24, being the Memorial Cup.
The Bertha Fuller Shield has been brought forward one week to March 10 to allow for the Tournament.
VETERANS’ GOLF
The golf course is simply blooming, if you are of veteran age and not playing on Monday you are missing out on the perfect way to start the week.
Rosemary Body had her name up in lights again with a winning score of 40 pts.
Fred Simmons made a return to the game, taking the double of runner up [37 pts], and nearest the pin for the men.
The ladies failed to find the green which was unusual.
With the rain giving way to sunshine, the coming weeks should see strong competition and a larger attendance.
Next game Monday 22nd, be there and enjoy the day.
SUNNY RIDGE GOLF NEWS
It was lovely to see the recent rain even though the Chook Run was washed out.
Next week will be a 12 hole Chook Run. Play Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Golf Carts are available.
Our sympathy is extended to the Ashton Family.
There will be a farewell to Tom and Maureen Foster on Sunday March 7 at 2.30pm. Everyone is welcome. Ladies please bring a plate.
