The chicken run held on Friday July 23 saw Trevor Morley win the Robanco voucher with net 22, the chicken winners were Ken Bolton net 25 and Tell Dell net 25 on a count back from Dean Simmons.
On Saturday July 24, members played an 18 hole Stableford event for the Paul and Garry Keen trophy.
On a fine sunny winters day history was created at Blayney Golf Club when all the winners on the day had the surname Davis.
The overall winner and King of the Davis dynasty on the day was Jason Davis with 40 stableford points, made up of back to back 20 point nines.
The A grade runner up was Bill Davis with 36 Stableford points on a count back from Tony Gannon and the B grade runner up was Peter Davis with 36 points.
The nearest the pin winners on the par 3 2nd hole were A grade Gerry (no relation) Davis 390cms and B grade Adam Davis 537cms.
The semi finals of the 2010 Elders Rural Bank Trophy were run and won on Saturday with the Davis clan at it again.
The first semi final saw the brothers Adam and Jason Davis play Don Eves and Gerry (no relation) Davis, with both brothers playing consistent golf they defeated the Bulldogs duo 8 & 6.
The second semi final saw father and son John and Bill Davis play Garry Keen and Tony Gannon, in a see sawing match John and Bill came from behind to take the match up the 19th.
With nerves of steel and the pride of the Davis family at stake, John and Bill were victorious on the 19th.
This means that for the first time in the history of the Banks Trophy three generations of the one family will contest the final.
It will be interesting to see when the final is played sometime in the next three weeks if it will be youthfully exuberance or mature experience that wins out, good luck to all players and no matter the result the name Davis will be up on the winners board for 2010.
This Saturday members will play an 18 hole stableford event for a club trophy.

BLAYNEY LADIES GOLF
Round three of the par event was played for last Wednesday.
Winner with plus 2 was Sue Bevear who has found some good form in the past few weeks to give the ladies a run for their money.
And guess who was runner up?
Wendy Crisp on a countback from Sue yet again with plus 2.
Nearest the pin on the second hole was Beryl Tolhurst and colleen Davis put in that we drop that dreaded creek as our other nearest the pin hole and picked the ninth hole second shot for a change.
This worked very well for Helen Keen who took out that prize.
