Students from EmDance travelled around the region and performed at a number of eisteddfods including Cowra, Forbes, Wellington, Bathurst and Orange.
The jazz and tap groups consisted of Tahlia Brown, Abbey Bell, Courtney Simmons, Abby Connolly, Grace Pattison, Emily Copelin, Taylah Sargent, Amy Malagon, Chloe and Naomi Anderson.
Both tap and jazz groups competed in the 14 years and under and open sections. Out of the five eisteddfods, the jazz group received four highly-commendeds and the tap group received three highly-commendeds.
Each group received marks in the 80’s for their performance.
EmDance also had soloists competing in the eisteddfods.
Including Carissa Garside in contemporary 14yrs and under, Kasey Lepoidevin in jazz and contemporary open section and Ashleigh McDonald in the jazz open section.
Soloists achieved high markings for their performances in each of their sections. The girls put up a great performance against their competitors. Well done.
Big congratulations to all the girls on an excellent performance this year!
Well done for all the hard work and extra rehearsals.
