Gone is the cramped and colourful home page and now there is a clear and easy to navigate welcome page.
The most accessed pages are grouped together as quick links whilst the drop down menu is now easier to navigate as well.
The website is also now much easier to navigate when using a mobile phone thanks to the quick links rendering as wide buttons.
Manager Tourism and Communications Megan Rodd has spent most of the lockdown working on the project and said that the website data is essentially the same, it's the templates used to render the pages that have changed.
"It's a lot more functional with things easier to find with just one click," she said.
"The navigation bar from the top is a lot easier to find things and it's a lot more visually appealing.
"New services also include a customer request form where residents can report things on that page."
The new website design has come into play because of the need to link data from the NSW government's planning portal.
Council was provided a total of $50,000 under the Regional NSW Planning Portal Grant Scheme Ms Rodd said.
"The purpose of the grant was to support activities to transition to the NSW Planning Portal and increase uptake of the NSW Planning Portal by council and/or communities,' she said.

Like all new websites there are aspects of the new site that are not yet fully available, such as the development tracker.
"Development fact sheets are still in progress so will be additions to the development section of the website are still in progress," Ms Rodd said.
"There are also some pages that will be updated with more links and pages such as the villages pages."
