From fashion weeks in Sydney and New York, and a stint in New York as a wedding and lifestyle photographer, Ms Nydegger has enjoyed the thrilling world of working in fashion and photography.
That eye for design and fashion, and a fascination for China's production economy, has led her into creating her own line of clothing.
"My husband and I moved to China seven years ago and started our family there so it's been a bit hard to do photography with young kids," she said.
"So I started printing a few images on fabric, making hangings and clothes from those prints so that's how it all came about."
The decision to merge her loves of photography, travel and fashion was working well in China where she had a team working on the designs, printing and production of a unique range of women's fashion.
Her clothing items feature images from her wide catalogue of images range from the vastness of the New York skyline to close ups of local wattles in flower.
Being based in China though has created its own problem, and explains why Ms Nydegger's next showing of her clothing will be in Millthorpe Blue's one-off salon showing on Thursday evening.
"I came home with the kids in December 2019 to visit my dad out at Forest Reefs for Christmas," she said. "Then we decided to stay a few weeks longer because it was so sunny."
"My husband decided to stay in China because it was fashion week over there and at that time he told us to stay here because there was some silly thing going around the country at that time.
"So he's still in China and we've been here for nearly two years now. We're all settled in now with the kids at Millthorpe Public School and living on the farm with the new dog."
Millthorpe Blue's salon showing is fully booked however the 'Saffrine' range of clothing is available in the store.
