Delays to the delivery of acoustic baffles over the pool hall has meant that the originally scheduled winter closure wasn't possible and unfortunately the pool will need to be closed leading up to the peak summer period.
Y Area Manager Shane Simmons said that the works are vital to providing the community with a high-quality leisure centre.
We are looking so forward to welcoming the community back for 12 days of fun

"The key components of upgrading the centre is the replacement of the roof, which requires a significant amount of construction work on site and will be very reliant on good weather," he said.
"We are looking so forward to welcoming the community back for 12 days of fun - particularly as this coincides with the last week of the school holidays.
"Given the temporary nature of the reopening the pools, Y Aquatic Memberships, visit passes and upfront memberships will not be reactivated at this time. Casual once-off entry fees will apply to all customers at this time."
Across the centre Mr Simmons said that staggered openings and closures would need to be flexible due to the exterior nature of the work and COVID-19 restrictions.
"The Y has been advised of these timeframes by our construction partners, however, the times are indicative and very dependent on weather and any further restrictions that may apply to construction works due to COVID-19," he said.
"The Y NSW is excited to be making these vital upgrades to CentrePoint to ensure the community of Blayney can enjoy exercising and swimming at an outstanding centre well into the future.
"We thank you for your understanding and support as we proceed with our upgrade through to the new year."
