A man has serious head injuries after an alleged assault on the driveway of a Brisbane home.
A man has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly assaulting a 68-year-old man during an early morning burglary.

The victim is in a critical condition at the Royal Brisbane Hospital with serious facial and upper body injuries.
Police were called to the apartment complex in the Brisbane suburb of Wilston at 6.30am on Friday where a 39-year-old man was arrested.
It will be alleged he broke into the complex and assaulted the man when he was disturbed.
It's believed a weapon was used in the alleged assault, and the man faces attempted murder, break and enter and burglary charges.
A crime scene is in place and witnesses are urged to come forward.
