The ANZAC Sunday Commemoration Service was held in the Neville War Memorial Park on Sunday, April 18th, 2021 under pleasant sunny skies. The service being organised by Scally Radburn and the Neville Village Hall Association. The service attracting a goodly crowd of upwards of 100 people.

The street was closed for the annual march which moved off from Neville Siding at 11.45 am led by Pipe Major Tim Arnott and the Canobolas Highland Pipe Band of Orange; followed by the Catafalque Party of Australian Air Force Cadets 329 Squadron, Orange 3 Wing (NSW); pupils of Neville Public School under principal Tracy Blackman; war veterans, Australian Defence Veterans and relatives of service personnel; military vehicles driven by Don Marriott, David Howell, Bob McNeill, Orange Historical District Car Club.
After the Parade took up their respective positions in War Memorial Park a Catafalque Party of Australian Air Force Cadets of 329 Squadron, Orange mounted the Guard.
Denis Chamberlain OAM who has carried out the task of MC for the last 10 years as usual did an excellent job as MC.
During the Opening and welcome to the gathering Councillor John Newstead spoke well on the spirit of ANZAC. Councillor David Kingham (Lay preacher Uniting Church) then delivered the Opening Prayer. During wreath laying Pipe Major Tim Arnott, led the Canobolas Highland Pipe Band in the playing of "The Lament".
Five pupils of the Neville Public School read prayers on behalf of her fellow pupils and their school.
The commemoration address was delivered by Councillor David Kingham. He spoke of our faith and used certain verses out of war history books and ended with 'Lest we forget'. Councillor Kingham of the Uniting Church then recited the Lord's Prayer. Bugler Jake Ryan provided the music on his trumpet for the Last Post and Reveille. The MC recited the Ode to the Fallen. The flag was lowered by a cadet of 329 Squadron for Last Post and again raised for the sounding of Reveille.
The Benediction was offered by Councillor David Kingham and the MC thanked those who played some major part in conducting the 35-minute service.
The Canobolas Highland Pipe Band played the music for the singing of the Australian National Anthem of which two verses were sung. The Catafalque Party was dismounted and the Parade was dismissed.
The gathering made their way to the Neville Hall for a light luncheon of which was a happy occasion.
