Mushroom hunt
Road trip
The mushrooms are out and the hunt is on. Yum! As the weather gets cooler it's time to get out and try some foraging in the beautiful countryside around Oberon. You can try and spot them in the wild yourself (be careful you don't pick out something deadly) or take part in a tour that starts from Hampton. Tickets include a barbecue lunch (with 'shrooms on the menus, of course) and tips on finding, preparing and preserving the fungi. To book a spot go to eventbrite.com.au/e/wild-mushroom-foraging-tour-tickets-136129379639.
