For Bradley Bradley the owner of Blayney's latest business The Odd Sock, the name was a natural because it honours the memory of his late wife Shelly.
"My daughter Emily and I called our store The Odd Sock, because Shelly used to laugh all the time about socks disappearing in the washing machine," he said.

"So, she started wearing odd socks for fun and to beat the washing machine at it's own game!"
A lover of arts and crafts, Shelly died in April last year from Ovarian cancer. She died just 25 days after being diagnosed. She was only 47.
"The shop honours her memory and love of arts and craft," Mr Bradley said. "We sell things my Shelly would have used or loved."
The Odd Sock will feature a gallery space for local artists as well as arts and craft supplies, quirky and interesting homewares as well as Mr Bradley's photographic services.
The store is located within the Bernardi's Marketplace complex and is open Mon-Tue and Thur-Sat 10am -5pm.
