22 members attended as well as three guests. It was a wonderful way to finish off the year given that 2020 certainly presented us all with a lot of challenges.
We welcome guests to any of our dinners and coming along to a couple of dinners is a great way to meet members and to find out what the VIEW club is all about.
Dinners are held in Millthorpe at the museum at 6.30 on the 3rd Tuesday of the month. You just need to contact Virginia (details below) to be included. Cost is $25 for a two course meal.
We did not have a guest speaker on the evening but Sue and Ros, who said that there would be some surprises on the night, held true to their word with some often challenging but hilarious games.

It really is a wonder there were not complaints from Millthorpe residents about the noise emanating from the museum!
Members were also quite thrilled that the lovely new toilet block at the museum is now operating and there was no need to wander through the dark with phone torches on in order to find the distant toilet.
Ros read out letters from our Learning for Life students and we continue to be amazed by the wonderful progress these two girls are making.
We have sponsored them from Primary school. One is now in Year 11 and the other at university. The student now at university has entertained us for many years with her quirky letters and updates and we were amused at the interesting spread of subjects the Year 11 student was studying.
As of November 2020, VIEW'S Learning for Life program sponsored 1,448 disadvantaged students.
Blayney VIEW club does not go into recess over the Christmas/New Year period and as such, our next dinner will be on 19 th January.
Guest speaker for the evening will be Anna Franceschini from Millthorpe's Dolce Sweets and Treats.
Anna is sure to delight us with her story of how she ended up running a lolly shop in Millthorpe.
If members have not stated their intention to attend or put in an apology please do so before Friday 15th January by contacting Virginia on 0457672748 or at ginma1949@gmail.com
