Member for Calare Andrew Gee said that Blayney's CentrePoint upgrade was a great example of just how the beneficial the BBRF is.
"The Building Better Regions Fund gives us the opportunity to deliver much needed local projects that drive economic growth and lasting benefits to our community," he said.
Not only had Blayney secured $1.9 million from the fund, but surrounding towns also received substantial funding for major projects.
"We have had fantastic outcomes in our region as a result of the investment from the Building Better Regions Fund," he said.

"These include almost $7 million to expand Mudgee's Glen Willow Regional Sporting Complex, over $1.118 million for a domestic violence crisis centre in Orange, $492,410 for a new Multi-Purpose Community Centre at Eugowra Showground and $12.5 million for Bathurst's second racetrack."
Blayney Shire Council's general manager Rebecca Ryan said that council had a number of projects that they would look at for funding.
"We are reviewing the funding guidelines and investigating which potential projects meet the program criteria," she said.
"Council has a number of projects on the shelf at the moment, including the Belubula River Walk Stage 2 to Heritage Park which is investment ready and planning complete."
The guidelines for Round 5 have now been released and can be found at www.business.gov.au/bbrf Applications open on 12 January 2021 and close on 5 March 2021.
