They've been guinea pigs for online learning and had travel and university plans upended.
Those exams have now finally come to an end and although some are sighing a pant of relief, others have been panting all along thanks to the Take the Pressure Off initiative by those running the CentrePoint Sports and Leisure Centre, The Y.
CEO of the Y Susannah Le Bron said that HSC students were welcomed into their 16 recreation and aquatic centres across NSW free of charge.
"We wanted to make it so they could tap into the incredible healing power of exercise and community connection," she said.
A total of 194 HSC students made the most of the initiative and hit the books harder because of it and in Blayney it was Rachelle Morgan who attended CentrePoint Leisure Centre while sitting her exams.
"This great offer is allowing me to take my mind off study and the stress it comes with it," she said.

"Coming down to the gym and pool breaks up my study patterns and limits stress.
"I am feeling better overall with the training and being free is a bonus!"
