From candles on the letterbox to bonfires on the hills it was a truly moving experience to witness the efforts that so many have gone to on this special day.
A small and impromptu group appeared at the Memorial Gates on Saturday morning as the president of the Blayney RSL Sub-Branch Reg Rendall lowered the flag to half mast and recited the ode.
