It wasn't a normal Anzac Day at all this year, but it was in its own way an incredibly powerful moment to see so many residents out on their driveway at dawn to commemorate those that have served.

From candles on the letterbox to bonfires on the hills it was a truly moving experience to witness the efforts that so many have gone to on this special day.
A small and impromptu group appeared at the Memorial Gates on Saturday morning as the president of the Blayney RSL Sub-Branch Reg Rendall lowered the flag to half mast and recited the ode.
