Bernardi's Marketplace in Blayney have now introduced a hand washing and trolley cleaning service in the store, and employed six new juniors to help keep customers safe.
Blayney store manager Geoff Bottom said that the store was now undergoing an extra 140 hours of cleaning a week.

"Every trolley is cleaned before customers use them so it's important that they get the trolleys inside the store only, not out in the car park," he said.
The knee operated sink at the entry to the store has proven to be a popular addition, with customer even lining up for a wash before entering.
"The majority of customers have been really good about everything, including the product limits," Mr Bottom said.
"We just ask that people be considerate towards everyone else in the community."
