Although a drive past event such as the Sculptures By the Bush exhibition would at first appear to be the perfect social distancing event, guidance from the federal government has meant that it will be re-scheduled for a future time.
Blayney mayor Scott Ferguson said that the competition is still planned to go ahead, however the dates for 2020 are uncertain.
'We have not set any dates yet as we will be waiting on government advice allowing residents to travel," he said.

"We feel the event is important to our region and we didn't want to postpone it for another 12 months."
A new event that was created following the re-routing of the B2B cycling race, this Monday was scheduled to be the launch date.
With tourism taking a serious battering across the shire, Cr Ferguson said that postponing the event will actually be an advantage in two ways.
"Our local businesses in Blayney and our villages will need a boost when this is over so we will be ready with an event to get travellers into our region," he said.
"There is also the benefit to those planning to get involved, as they will have more time to plan their artworks and have them ready for installation, hopefully in the next two or three months."
The event has three different categories for residents to enter in including the Hay Bale Art Challenge, a Farm Art Challenge and the Scarecrow Competition.
Council will advise of new deadlines for registration and judging dates.
