With the level of Lake Rowlands now at 35 per cent, the general manager of Central Tablelands Water Gavin Rhodes has advised that level five water restrictions will apply from Sunday April 5 across the entire water supply network.
"Although we have received some much welcomed rain recently in the region, unfortunately the storms have been isolated and not in the Lake Rowlands catchment area," he said.

Although the forecast for rain in April is looking good, there is a distinct possibility that if it doesn't fall in the right place, level six could be only weeks away.
"With the temperatures cooling off our demand is slowly reducing, however, with the possibility of no inflows in the near future, we could potentially be at our level six water restriction trigger point of 30 per cent within an eight to ten week period," Mr Rhodes said.
LIFE AT LEVEL FIVE
Level five restrictions consists of the watering of gardens on Sundays only, between 7am and 9am or 4pm and 6pm for a maximum of one hour in total.
The irrigation of new turf, watering of lawns, washing down walls or paved surfaces, topping up private swimming pools/spas, first fill of private swimming pools and washing cars at home are not permitted.
