We had 25 players enjoying the sun and tranquility of Blayney's Golf course with not a blade of grass on and around the greens out of place which sets up for some hot scores. None better than Jordan Roberts taking home the $25 Robanco meat voucher closely followed by Ian Hobby winning the $10 voucher with a nett score of 19.

Saturday we had our opening round of our TCN sponsored 4BBB Stroke Championships and the Royal Hotel Trophy the winners on the day before the rain set in was Garry Keen and Tony Smith 67 nett 62. Runners up were Brett Bright and Nick Corbett with 79 for a nett 63. Nearest the pin sixth/15th: A grade was Rod Corbett 544cm. B grade was S Peace 437 cm
Championship leaders: A grade is Garry Keen and Tony Smith 67/62. Second is Mick Tyrrell and Mick Owen 70/64. B grade Brett Bright and Nick Corbett 79/63. Second, is Tom Nixon and Steve Toshack 84/66.
This Saturday is the second round of the TCN sponsored 4BBB Championship and we will be playing for the Kable/Corbett Family trophy. The following Saturday will be the first round of the Regis Mine sponsored Club Championship and the Pat and Harold Wilcox Trophy and Sunday second round of the Championship for Wayne Fenwicks Trophy.
