It is with great sadness that I write to the Blayney community to acknowledge the input "Robbo" made to so many people and events in our district.

Ian Roberts, affectionately know as Robbo, passed away in Lismore on February 6 following a battle with that dreaded cancer.
Robbo taught Visual Arts at Blayney High School for over 20 years.
In that time he encouraged every student he encountered to use their abilities to their very highest standard. His lessons were fun filled and inspiring. He mentored the Student Representative Council, coached sporting teams, organised many excursions and always kept us entertained with his quick wit and many humorous cartoons.
He provided after school art lessons for many years.
Students and community members thoroughly enjoyed the time spent with him on these occasions.
Many fond memories and fantastic art works were created under his guidance.
Before leaving Blayney Robbo held an exhibition and sale of his art works. Many of us now have a Robbo original hanging in our homes.
Recently he held an exhibition created while living in the Lismore area.
Many people spoke of his humour, talent and tremendous generosity.
