The Rural Fire Service has listed a number of evacuation centres around Orange and the Canobolas Local Government Area should fires flare up in the Central West.

The evacuation centres are not yet open and do not require volunteers. They will be opened if needed.
A statement by the RFS Canobolas Zone said bigades are on standby in case of any fires, but warned fires "may not be able to be contained and will spread quickly".
"As advised by our Commissioner resources will be stretched and a fire tanker and fire fighters may not be at your property door."
The statement said if you receive a message to evacuate or leave you had to comply.
"Do not put your life, the lives of your family or our emergency service personnel at risk by staying."
The RFS said keep an eye on local media and local radio as well as the Fires Near Me app on your phone or computer, as well as the RFS social media.
The statement suggested those living outside of a major town and not feeling safe should "pack up and head into that town".
The Rural Fire Service has also announced evacuation centres in the Orange, Cabonne, Blayney and Cowra local govermnent areas.
