Murrays Bid Farewell to Carcoar
Longtime Carcoarians Ron & Marion Murray have bid farewell to Carcoar. Friends gathered for a send-off last weekend to celebrate their time in the village and to wish them well. The Murrays have been a part of the local scene for many decades and have devoted themselves to community organisations and causes with Marion being involved with the Catholic parish and activities and Ron serving as the warden of St Paul's. Ron was involved in fund-raising campaigns to repair the steeple and roof of St Paul's. His chaplancy to Uralba, RFS and the RSL will be missed. Their Carcoar home, ' The Saddlery' shows their dedicated restoration work and it was from this building that the couple conducted The 'Saddlery Nursery' for several years. Marion and Ron will be missed from the Carcoar community and we wish them all the best for the future.
